Because the facility is open to the public, the dress code is not as rigorous as at some private clubs. This is because squash players (for example) attend the bar in sports clothing, shorts, etc, and whilst the golf club standards of private clubs may not be adhered to, Mowsbury Golf Club expect their members and visitors to try to set a higher standard, as would be expected if visiting a private golf club. e.g. no jeans or collarless shirts on the course. Men are not to wear hats in the lounge or function room. For major club presentations, jacket & tie must be worn. At all times, it is hoped that smart casual clothing will be worn within the clubhouse facility.
